Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will conduct the TJEE in an offline mode. Candidates wishing to apply for the admissions in the undergraduate engineering degree programme offered by the colleges participating in the counselling process. The application form of TJEE 2019 will be available in both online and offline mode tentatively starting from third week of December and first week of January respectively. The last date of submitting the duly filled application form will be last week of January, 2019. The admission authority will release the admit card tentatively in the third week of March and the examination would be conducted in the third week of April, 2019. Provisional answer key of TJEE 2019 will be released by the admission authority tentatively in the last week of April after the exam is conducted. The results of TJEE 2019 are likely to be declared in the last week of May and the counselling will start from the last week of June. Candidates will be given admission based on the marks obtained in the examination.

Minimum Criteria

·         Candidates must be Indian National and permanent resident of Tripura State. The candidate must be either a permanent resident or their parents must be residing in the state for the past 10 years.

·         Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination.

·         Candidates who are children of State and Central government employees are eligible.

·         Candidates who are the children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur-Tripura Cadre and candidates who are children of Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura are also eligible to apply for the examination irrespective of their stay in Tripura.

Application Process

The admission authority of the TJEE will release the application form of TJEE 2019 tentatively in the last week of December, 2018 in both online and offline mode. Candidates must provide all the valid and complete information while filling up the form, else the candidature will be rejected by the admission authority. Candidates can check the below mentioned steps to know how to fill the application form.

TJEE 2019  Application Form - Online Mode

The online mode of applications will be available from the last week of December, 2018. Candidates will be able to fill up the form until the first week of February, 2019. Candidates will be required to download the online application form of TJEE 2019 from the website portal and then get that printed. The application form must then be filled in by the candidates with the black ball point pen only. The candidates who are applying through online mode of application, will be required to pay Rs. 100/- for the cost of Application form and Prospectus in cash in addition to the necessary enrolment fees at the time of submission of application form. Candidates must fill all the necessary details required in the application form. After the form is duly filled, candidates must submit the form wil all the required documentes and fee receipt either at the centres of through post.

TJEE Application Form 2019 - Offline Mode              

The application forms along with prospectus can be obtained from the counters of the office of TBJEE from the first week till the last week of January, 2019 on payment of Rs. 100/- in cash. The application forms can aslo be obtained from the below mentioned centres. Candidates can also obtain the prospectus and application form by postal request from the office of TBJEE by sending postal order of Rs. 100/- in favor of TBJEE payable at Agartala Head Post Office. Candidates must send the postal order along with a self-addressed 30 x 13 cm sized envelope and a postage stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed on it.

Exam Pattern

The eligible candidates who wish to apply for the examination must go through the exam pattern of TJEE 2019. This would include the details regarding the how the questions will be framed, total number of questions, marks allotted to each question, marking scheme, total time allotted to the candidates, types of questions which are likely to be there in the examination, and more. With the help of TJEE 2019 exam pattern, candidates will make things easy for the candidate to understand related to the examination pattern.
