Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is an important National Level MBA Entrance test for MBA admission in 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges accepting SNAP 2018 score. It is the mandatory exam to apply for the MBA programmes offered by the institutes of Symbiosis International University and is considered as one of the major entrance exams after CAT and XAT.
Some of the top MBA colleges in India like Symbiosis Institute of Management (SIBM), Pune; SIIB Pune; SCMHRD Pune, SIBM Bangalore among others accept only SNAP Test scores for MBA admission.
SNAP Test is a moderate difficulty level exam with 150 questions in MCQ format divided into four sections. The marking pattern in SNAP exam is +1 mark for each correct answer and – ¼ negative marking for each wrong answer. SNAP 2018 exam will be held in more than 100 cities in India.

SNAP Exam Pattern:
· Exam Mode: The exam will be organized via online mode.
· Duration: The test duration will be of 120 minutes.
· Type of Question: Questions will be objective type. Each question has 4 responses.
· Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct response.
· Negative Marking: For each wrong answer 25% negative marks will be done.
SNAP 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
· Graduates in any discipline with at least 50% marks from recognised university or institute (45% for SC/ST candidates) for all the Master of Business Administration programmes.
· Final year students are also eligible for SNAP test.
· There’s no age limit for SNAP test.

SNAP Syllabus 2018:
SNAP syllabus is not much different from other national-level MBA entrance tests. SNAP exam tests the aptitude of a candidate for management programmes.
The test comprises four sections— General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability / Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency / General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario / Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Process for SNAP 2018:
Step 1: Fill the Application form
Candidates willing to appear for SNAP 2018 need to first fill in the application form. Aspirants can apply on the official website of SNAP. The provision of offline application is not available. Candidates need to register for SNAP and institutes offering his/ her choice of MBA program separately.
The registration fees for SNAP 2018 is Rs 1500. MBA registration fee for each institute is Rs 1000. Candidates can choose to apply through the following modes:

Step 2: Download SNAP 2018 Admit Card
Candidates appearing for SNAP 2018 can download their respective admit cards from the official website. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the candidate’s email ID and password. Once the candidate prints the admit card, he/she needs to paste a passport size colored photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
Step 3: Appear for SNAP 2018 exam
SNAP is conducted in an offline mode wherein test-takers will be allotted 120 minutes to solve exam carrying 150 marks. Candidates will be assessed on General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Candidates must note that they can use Blue or Black ball point pen only to mark the answers.
Step 4: Check SNAP 2018 Result
Test-takers can expect SNAP 2017 result within a month from the date of examination. The scorecards will be available on the official website. Candidates can download their result by providing their respective SNAP 2016 ID and password.
Step 5: GD/PI/WAT
The final merit list for admission to the various MBA programs offered by SIU will be based on Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). SNAP test score out of 180 will scaled down to 50. Candidates who secure their names in the final merit list will be further called for admission to an institute of their preference.
