The last date for the submission of the online application forms for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2017 has been extended by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi.

The last date for the submission of the online application forms for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2017 has been extended by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi. Now, the candidates can get registered till February 11, 2017. Along with the registration date, the last date for image uploading has also been extended till February 12, 2017 for the applicants. The last date of fee has been extended till February 13, 2017.

The lower age limit for appearing in NATA-2017 has been dispensed. However, the applicants will have to comply with any age restrictions that may be specified to a respective counseling/admission authority. The admission committee has also made the application form fields “Total Marks” and “Obtained Marks” optional in view of the 10th standard grade cards from which marks is not easily obtainable.

The online registrations for NATA 2017 have already started from January 4, 2017 for all eligible applicants and were originally scheduled to end on February 2, 2017. However, with the new notification the last date for registration has been extended till February 11, 2017.

NATA 2017 is an offline entrance examination conducted for giving admissions to the 5 year B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) programmes into the participating institutes of the admission procedure. The entrance exam aims to evaluate the aptitude and analytical skills of the applicants. NATA 2017 is scheduled to be held on April 16, 2017.

The NATA will be held as one-day examination (paper based, offline) on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 11 am-2 pm. The exam is of 200 marks divided into 2 parts. Part A consists of mathematics and general aptitude of 40 and 80 marks respectively. Part B consists of drawings of 80 marks.

NATA is conducted for taking admission to first year of 5 years B.Arch program for all architectural institutions in the country.

NATA score is valid for a period of two years from the year in which one appeared. The score cards will be posted on the website on the fourth working day after the test. 

Eligibility Criteria

Three years diploma holders are also eligible to apply.

Candidates have to pass HSLC or equivalent examination with Mathematics & obtain 50% marks.

The minimum age limit for appearing in NATA 2017 has been wavied.

SSC (Std 10) Marksheet.

Photo ID (Driving License, Passport, UID Card, 12th admit card with photograph & signature (in originals), college ID card).

Scanned image of Photograph in a JPEG Format. The photograph size should be 4 – 100 KB (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm).

Scanned images of signature & thumb impress. The image size should be 1 – 30 kb (3.5 cm X 1.5 cm)
