MP MET can be otherwise known as Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test and MP TET is the main examination conducted among all interested candidates. Such categories of candidates are given immense priority and they are able to undertake admissions in various MBA programs in colleges of state Madhya Pradesh.

 

Management Entrance Test (MET) in Madhya Pradesh (MP) is held for admission into different postgraduate management programs in colleges, institutes and university departments situated in Madhya Pradesh. The Professional Examination Board (PEB) Bhopal also known as Vyavsayik Pareeksha Mandal (VYAPAM) is administering authority of the MET Entrance Exam. VYAPAM Board administer MET test in various cities across the state, announces results and invites candidates for counseling for allotment of seats in different colleges. On the basis of score in MET Entrance Examination candidate gets admission into 2 year management programs leading to the award of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Finance Management (MFM) etc. MET Score is used by colleges for admission into both full time regular MBA program as well as part time MBA Program. MET Exam was earlier known as Madhya Pradesh Joint Management Entrance Test (MPJMET). Graduate students in any stream viz, science, engineering, arts, commerce, business etc can write MET exam for admission into postgraduate management programs.

Minimum Criteria

Eligibility

§  Candidates of Under Graduate degree completion will have to come up with 50% of marks aggregation and they will be allowed to attend this test as per their desired manner, only if they have secured good scores

§  If candidates completed their Post Graduation, they have to secure 50% of marks aggregation in terms of moving further

§  Special category or reserved category candidates, especially from several categories such as SC, ST, OBC and PH will also be given great importance and they are given 10% if marks concession so they are considered as eligible. Such categories of candidates have to come up with 40% of minimum marks inMP MET 2018 test

 

§  Marks Concession:

 

§  Physically challenged candidates are also given such concession in their marks

§  Candidates of course completion or awaiting for their final year results will also be allowed to undertake NMIMS NMAT Test and they have to get admission only after clear all examinations of their qualifying education.

§  Diploma degree holders are also given marks concession and they are also given same like special category candidates and it is 5% of marks concession in their marks.

§  Candidates from special or reserved category candidates will also applicable to avail such specialized courses

§  Candidates have to make sure whether they are attaining their eligibility level or not

Candidates are advised to also go through the paper pattern along with MP Management Entrance Test Syllabus.

 

MP MET Paper pattern for Written Test:

·                     The questions in the written examination will be from 6 topics state below.

·                     All the questions in the examination will be objective type.

·                     The duration of the examination will be 2 Hours 45 Minutes.

·                     Total number of questions will be 200.

·                     Each question will carry one mark.

·                     There will be no negative marking in the examination.

·                     Over written examination will be of 200 marks.

MP MET Paper Pattern for Group Discussion & Personal Interview:

 

Candidates who will successfully qualify the written exam will be called to participate in Group Discussion & Personal Interview round which will be conducted by the authorized department of organization. However the final section of the aspirants will be done through considering the performance of the aspirants in Written TestGroup Discussion & Personal Interview as per the weightage set by the organization. Group Discussion & Personal Interview will be of 50 marks. There 80% weightage of marks in Written Test whereas in Group Discussion and Personal Interview, the weightage of marks is 10% each respectively.
