MAEER'S MIT Institute of Design, a constituent of MIT Art Design & Technology University conducts MITID DAT in collaboration with Avantika University, Ujjain in order to provide admission to candidates in various BDes and MDes programmes offered by the college.

Candidates interested in MITID admissions 2019 can appear for the entrance exam on April 7.

Minimum Criteria

Candidates who have passed Standard XII in any stream from a recognised board such as HSC, CBSC, ICSE, IB meet MITID-DAT 2019 eligibility criteria for BDes programme.

Application Process

Step 1: Fill MITID DAT Application Form

For MITID-DAT registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website of the college and fill the MITID-DAT 2019 application form there. 

MITID DAT application fee: Candidates can pay the application fee either in the online mode or by issuing a demand draft in favour of MIT ADT University-MIT Institute of Design.

Step 2: Get MITID DAT Admit Card

After the application form is successfully submitted, candidates will receive MITID DAT 2019 admit card on their registered email IDs.

MITID DAT admit card contains details such as the name and roll number of the candidate as well as the date, time, and allotted centre for the design entrance exam.

Step 3: Appear for MITID DAT

After getting the admit card, candidates need to appear for the exam at the allotted MITID-DAT exam centre. MITID DAT contains questions on subjects such as Drawing and Sketching, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning.

Step 4: Check MITID DAT Result

MIT Institute of Design will declare MITID-DAT 2019 result on its official website.

MITID DAT result 2019 will contain the names of candidates shortlisted for the next round of admissions.

Step 5: Give Studio Test and Personal Interview

Candidates shortlisted in MITID-DAT then need to appear for the studio test followed by the personal interview round.

It may be noted that no separate call letters will be sent to shortlisted candidates, informs the official website.

Candidates clearing the studio test and personal interview can then secure admission at MITID in BDes and MDes programmes offered by it.

Exam Pattern

MITID DAT exam pattern is such that there will be both subjective and objective questions in the exam. Maximum marks aspirants can secure in the exam are 100.

Besides this, there is no fixed MITID DAT 2019 exam pattern regarding the number and type of questions, informed a college official.

However, questions in the design entrance exam mainly aim at judging the drawing and sketching skills, GK skills, observation skills, and logical reasoning skills of candidates.
