LSAT India exam is a national level conducted through offline mode for law aspirants. It is organized for providing admission in UG, PG and integrated law courses in India. More than 85 law institutions and colleges consider the LSAT score for providing admission. The LSAT is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills required for admission in law courses.

LSAT stands for Law School Admission Test which is a worldwide examination. The examination is commenced for offering admission to the courses into so many colleges as well as institutions in India as well as in foreign countries.  The examination is commenced by LSAC, USA. The examination gives the opportunity to the seekers once in a year of India to catch the law courses which are offered in countries worldwide specifically USA as well as Canada. There are some important details of the examination that candidate must acquire.

Minimum Criteria

It is the candidates’ responsibility to ensure the LSAT 2019 eligibility criteria of the associated law schools before proceeding to register for the LSAT India. If an applicant registers for the test and then found ineligible for admission to the intended law school/program, then their application will be rejected and no test-fee refund will be given under such situations.Those who satisfy in all the eligibility norms shown below are eligible to apply for LSAT 2019.

·         LSAT BA LLB: Candidates studied class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Those who are studying now in class 12 are also eligible to apply.

·         LLB: Candidates who hold Bachelors degree from a UGC approved institute and attained 45% are eligible to apply. Those who are undergoing now final year of Bachelors degree also eligible to apply.

·         LSAT LLM: Candidates who studied Three years LLB or five years BA LLB and attained 45% marks eligible to apply for attending LSAT 2019.

Application Process

Here we have mentioned details about application form filling procedure:

·         LSAT registration 2019 will be done through online mode only.

·         The application form will be provided from the first week of October 2018.

·         There will be no offline mode provided to apply for the LSAT exam.

·         Firstly, candidates have to fill their registration details.

·         Candidates are required to upload the scanned image of the photograph.

·         After the registration, a confirmation mail will be sent to the registered Email ID.

·         Students must take printout of the LSAT 2019 application for further use.

·         There is no need to send the printed application to the authority.

Application Fee:

·         Candidates have to pay Rs. 3800/- as an application fee.

·         Fee payment can be done via online mode using debit/credit cards.

·         Payment through demand draft will not be accepted.

·         The application fee will be same for all categories.

Exam Pattern

Here candidates can check the detailed exam pattern of LSAT India exam:

·         Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through pen and paper based (offline mode).

·         Duration of Exam: The exam duration will 2 hours 20 minutes. 35 minutes will be given for each section.

·         Sections: The question paper will comprises of four sections, i.e. Analytical Reasoning, 1st Logical Reasoning, 2nd Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

·         Type of Questions: The question will be of a Multiple Choice Question some with four answer choices and others with five options.

·         Number of Question: There will be 92 – 100 questions will be asked in the exam.

·         Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response.

·         Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in LSAT exam.
