Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a state-level entrance examination for admission to post graduate level programmes offered by MBA colleges and B-schools in the state of Karnataka. Aspirants can apply for admission to MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes by appearing in this examination.

KMAT 2018 accepting institutions include Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS), Alliance University, IFIM Business School, MP Birla Institute, M S Ramaiah, Mount Carmel, PESIT and many more.

Application Process

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

Aspirants willing to appear for KMAT need to fill the application form before the deadline. The same can be obtained online. Candidates must note that they need to check the eligibility before filling the form. The application form can be filled online by paying a fee of Rs 800. 

Candidates must note that the application fee can be paid online through Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallets & other online payment methods.

Step 2: Download KMAT Admit Card

Candidates who register successfully for the exam will be allotted admit cards online. Candidates need to visit the official website and download the same. The admit card is an important document that needs to be carried to the exam hall. 

Step 3: Appear for KMAT

Registered candidates can appear for KMAT. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours, and candidates will be assessed Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning. 

Step 4: Check KMAT Result

KMAT result is usually declared within one month from the date of exam. The result will be displayed on the official website, and test-takers can visit the official website to view their scorecards.

Exam Pattern

KMAT pattern is as follows: 

·         Mode of exam is paper-pen based exam

·         The duration of the exam is 2 hours

·         The paper will be divided into three sections

·         Each section will consist of 40 questions

·         The total number of questions will be 120

·         Every section will be of 160 marks each

·         The total marks of the exam will be 480
