JEE Main 2019 will be a computer-based test to be held from January 6 to 20 and again from April 6 to 20. The examination will be held only during weekends.

JEE Main 2019 for the January exam has started from September 1. Candidates will be able to pay the registration fee till October 1, 2018. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2019 twice in a year for undergraduate engineering admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Paper I examination will be conducted in two shifts per day whereas Paper II will be held in one shift only. According to the latest notification released by NTA, JEE Main 2019 Paper II will be conducted as both computer-based (Mathematics and Aptitude) and pen and paper based test (Drawing). 

 


Minimum Criteria

There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main.

Candidates must have five subjects in the 10+2 exam to meet JEE Main 2019 eligibility criteria. Candidates should have physics, mathematics, language, any one from the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject.

Eligibility

10+2 or equivalent exam passed in 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply.

Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs.

Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.

Paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planing).
