IPU CET Law 2018: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducted the IPU CET law 2018 for admissions to its law programmes on May 19, 2018. The common entrance test for LLB (IPU CET Law) was conducted in offline mode. The university offers admissions to five-year integrated law programmes including BA LLB and BBA LLB. The UG law programmes are offered in as many as eight colleges affiliated to GGSIPU. Candidates interested in pursuing the five-year law programmes from the university had to apply on February 19, 2018, for IPU CET Law 2018.

Minimum Criteria

1.    The candidates must complete Class XII from a recognized Board / University with English Subject as a compulsory subject.

2.    An aspirant needs to obtain at least 50% of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.

3.    The Bar Council of India is planning to introduce age as a criterion for making the students eligible for the application of this examination.

4.    The students who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria can not appear for this examination.

5.    The aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling the online application form for the examination.

Application Process

Given below are some general information about the application form of LSAT 2018. One must read it carefully to clear all doubts regarding it.

1.    Firstly, GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indra Prastha University) is release the online application form of IPU CET Law 2018 from 19 February.

2.    The aspirants need to complete the online registration process so that they can get their User ID and Password.

3.    Then, the candidates must enter their personal and academic information.

4.    They should also upload their recent photograph and signature in the permissible size.

Application Fee

·         Another part of the online application form is making payment of online application form fee.

·         The candidates can make payment of online application form fee by using Internet Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / Demand Draft.

Exam Pattern

IP University conducted the IPU CET Law 2018 on May 19, 2018, at various exam centres. The IPU LLB entrance examination was held offline or in paper pen mode where candidates were required to answer as many as 150 questions carrying four marks each. The time allotted to finish the test was 150 minutes or 2 hours and 20 minutes. IPU CET Law 2018 commenced the university level LLB entrance exam at 10:30 am. GGSIPU followed a negative marking policy under which every wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark from the total scored marks. Applicants were required to answer a question with only one option among those given. Questions responded with more than one answer option lead to negative marking.
