MHT CET 2020
Maharashtra state common entrance test cell will conduct the MHT CET 2020 exam. This exam will offer admissions to the 1st year of B.E/B.Tech, B.Pharmacy and Pharma D courses in the state of Maharashtra. A large number of institutes will consider MHT CET 2020 score for admissions. The application form for the exam will be available in the 3rd week of January 2020 tentatively and mode of application will be online.

For B.E/B.Tech Admission :
· The candidate must be an Indian national.
· The candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Maths, Physics and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical or vocational subjects with at least 50% marks.
· 45% for candidates from reserved categories belonging from Maharashtra state only.
· The applicants having a diploma in engineering with at least 50% marks are also eligible.( 45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories).
· The candidates having B.Sc degree with at least 50% marks.
· (45% for Maharashtra state candidates) and studied Mathematics subject at 10+2 level can also apply.
For B.Pharma :
· The candidate must be an Indian national.
· The aspirant must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
· (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories).
For D.Pharma :
· The applicant should have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories)
· Candidates having a diploma in pharmacy with 50% marks can also apply (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories).
MHT CET 2020 Application Form :
· MHT CET 2020 application form will be released in the third week of January 2020.
· The last date to fill and submit the application form will be in the fourth week of March 2020.
· Students can complete the registration process through the official website.
· Studnets will have to enter his/her personal details, educational details, contact details, medium of language, choice of paper and exam center city.
· Candidates will also have to upload his/her photograph, signature and other required documents as asked.
· After completing these steps, candidates will have to pay the application fee to confirm their candidature.

MHT CET 2020 will be organized as an online Computer Based Test (CBT). It holds 3 Papers :
· Paper 1(Mathematics)
· Paper 2(Physics & Chemistry)
· Paper 3 (Biology – Zoology & Botany).

MHT CET 2020 Syllabus
The program will be prepared from the State Board of Secondary and Upper Secondary Education of Maharashtra.
A 20% agenda will be taken from class 11 and 80% from class 12 when the questionnaire is written.
Physics:
The topics from Physics subject are – Measurements, Scalars, and Vectors, Friction in solids and liquids, Force, Ray Optics, Refraction of Light, Magnetic effect of electric current, Magnetism, etc.
Chemistry:
The topics from Chemistry subject are – Some basic concepts of chemistry, Redox reaction, States of Matter: Gases and liquids, Surface chemistry, Basic principles and techniques in organic chemistry, Nature of chemical bond, Hydrogen, S-Block elements (Alkali and alkaline earth metals), Alkanes, etc.
Mathematics:
Trigonometric functions, Trigonometric functions of Compound Angles, Relations and Functions, Factorization Formulae, Circle and Conics, Straight Line, Sets, Sequences and series, Probability, etc.
Biology:
· Botany – Diversity in organisms, Plant Water Relations, and Mineral Nutrition, Plant Growth and Development, Biochemistry of the cell.
Zoology – Organization of Cell, Human Nutrition, Animal tissues, Human Respiration.
