JEE Main 2020 will be organized by the newly formulated body -National Testing Agency. This is a national level screening test conducted every year to offer admission into B.E, B.Tech, B.Plan and B.Arch programmes. As per the decision of HRD Ministry, the entrance test of JEE Main from the year 2019 onwards is being held twice in the months of January and April. Candidates who aspire to pursue these engineering programmes in various renowned institutions like IIT’s, CFTI’s, NIT’s etc. have to qualify the test by securing the minimum qualifying cut-off marks.

JEE Main 2020 New Changes Introduced
Candidates can check below all the new changes introduced in the JEE Main 2020 test:
· From 2019 onwards, National Testing Agency (NTA) is given the responsibility to conduct the entrance exams of JEE Main.
· NTA JEE Main 2020 will be conducted twice every year in the months of January and April in online CBT mode.
· The age limit to apply for JEE Main has been removed. Now candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion can apply for the exam irrespective of their age.
· Candidates have to book their exam slots to appear for online mode exam.
· For JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan), it is mandatory for the candidates to have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects.
· Candidates appearing among the top 224000 qualified students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
· NTA has set up more than 3400 Practice centers in the country for the preparation of the students.
· Diabetic students can take water bottle, fruits and sugar tablets inside the exam center.
· There will be a reservation of 10% to economically weaker section inn JEE Main 2020 and colleges accepting JEE score will reserve the seats for the same.
· Candidates will be able to appear in either one or both the sessions to increase their chances of admission in the colleges. For candidates appearing in both January andApril, their better of the two scores will be considered for the JEE Main merit list.

How to Apply?
The application form for JEE Main 2020 exam will be filled and submitted in online mode through the official website. It will be mandatory for the candidates to enter their Aadhar number in the application form (except for the aspirants from J&K, Meghalaya, Assam). The candidates must have a working email id and phone number in order to apply for the exam. While entering the details in the application form, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of recent passport size photograph, signature and parent’s/guardian signature.
The application will be accepted in online mode only, there is no requirement to send hard copy of application form at NTA office.
Application Fee
The JEE Main exam used to be conducted in both online & offline mode and the application fee used to be different in both the modes. But now as exam will be conducted only online mode we are providing the fees for the online exam only.
JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern
The pattern for JEE Main exam 2020 is given below:
· Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-based test)
· Papers in Exam: 2 i.e. Paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/ B. Planning
· Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
· Marking Scheme: 4 Marks will be awarded for a correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer
· Language: Hindi and English (Questions will also be asked in Gujarati in case of exam center in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Havali)
· Type of Questions: Objective Type MCQ and Questions to test drawing aptitude (only in paper 2)

JEE Main 2020 Syllabus
The important units to be studied for the JEE Main 2020 exam are as follows. Have a look at its prescribed syllabus:
· Mathematics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Permutations and combinations, Matrices and determinants, Mathematical induction, Mathematical reasoning, Integral calculus, Continuity and differentiability, Sequences and series, Co-ordinate geometry, Three-dimensional geometry, Trigonometry, Vector algebra etc.
· Physics: Kinetic theory of gases, Electromagnetic waves, Rotational motion, Properties of solids and liquids, Gravitation, Kinetic theory of gases, Oscillations and waves, Electrostatics, Dual nature of matter and radiation, Current electricity, Magnetic effects of current and magnetism, Electrostatics, Work, power and energy etc.
