Delhi University conducts DU LLB Entrance Exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in LLB programmes offered by it. Programmes offered at Delhi University’s Faculty of Law are LLB, LLM (2 years) and LLM (3 years).

Delhi University Law entrance exam (DU LLB entrance exam 2019) will be managed by the faculty of Law, Delhi University. The university offer the 3 years of LLB course through this entrance examination. It is a university level entrance exam to get admission in the Delhi University.

Minimum Criteria

To sit in the DU LLB entrance exam, candidates need to fulfill the eligibilities given below.

 

·         Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have the graduation degree in any stream from DU or any other recognized institution/university.

·         Minimum Marks: Candidates must have minimum of 50% marks (for general), 45% marks (for OBC) & 40% marks (for SC/ST) in their qualifying exam.

·         Relaxation: There is a 5% of relaxation in the qualifying marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personal (CW) & Physically Handicapped (PH).

·         Appearing Candidates: Those studying in their final year of graduation can also apply.

·         Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to appear.

Application Process

Candidates must read the information brochure carefully to fill the DU LLB application form.

·         The candidates can start the application form filling process from the second week of June 2019.

·         Application form can be filled through online mode only.

·         The last date to fill the DU LLB entrance exam application form 2019 will be the fourth week of June 2019.

·         Candidates must provide the details carefully in the application form. Candidates also have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature.

·         Provide valid mobile number and email Id for future communication.

·         Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the filled-in application form till the admission.

Application Fee:

·          Candidates have to submit the Rs. 500 (for unreserved/OBC category) candidates and Rs. 250 (for SC/ST/PwD category) candidates.

·         The application fee can be paid through online (credit card/debit card/internet banking) or offline (NEFT/Demand Draft) mode.

Exam Pattern

The examination for DU LLB 2019 will take place in the offline mode

§  The questions will appear in objective Type

§  Duration of examination is 120 minutes

§  Exam will appear in only one language i.e. English

§  Total number of questions will be 175

§  4 marks will give for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer

Syllabus

The DU LLB entrance exam syllabus will be comprised of the topics such as General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language Comprehension, Reasoning & Analytical Abilities and Legal Awareness and Aptitude. Candidates must go through these topics to gain good marks in the examination.
