Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will be conducting COMEDK UGET 2018, a state level examination for admission of candidates to the B.Tech degree programmes. Through COMEDK UGET 2018, candidates can get admission in 190 participating institutes in the State of Karnataka. Around 20,000 seats will be offered to the candidates who will qualify through COMEDK UGET.

Minimum Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. If at any point they are found to be ineligible, their candidature will be cancelled with immediate effect.

For B. Tech aspirants

  • Those who are appearing/have qualified 10+2 exam with minimum 45% aggregate in PCM and English. (40% for reserved category candidates of Karnataka)
  • Should have passed each subject individually.
  • Diploma candidates are not eligible for COMEDK since no lateral entry is allowed in the course.

For B. Arch aspirants

  • Those who are appearing/have qualified 10+2 exam with PCM or have a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Governments securing a minimum 50% aggregate marks. (45% for reserved category candidates of Karnataka)
  • Should have passed each subject individually.

Important - B. Arch aspirants do not have to appear for COMEDK exam. However, they must have appeared for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) scoring a minimum of 80 marks out of 200.

Application Process

Step 1: Register for COMEDK UGET

The first and foremost step is to register for COMEDK UGET on the official website. The application form is available online and the fee for candidates attempting three subjects is Rs 1200 (PCM) and for candidates attempting both COMEDK AND UniGAUGE is Rs 2000.

Step 2: Download COMEDK UGET 2018 Admit card

Aspirants can download COMEDK UGET 2019 admit card from the official website which will be made available in the month of April. The admit card will have details like Candidate's Name, Address, contact details, test centres etc.

Step 3: Appear for COMEDK UGET 2018

COMEDK UGET is conducted in the month of May. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.

Step 4: Check COMEDK UGET 2018 exam result

COMEDK UGET 2019 exam result will be declared in the month of May. Only those who are eligible will be able to view the same under the 'applicant login' section of the website. The result will have a candidate's merit position, score-card with total marks, marks obtained in each subject.

Step 5: Appear for COMEDK UGET Counselling

Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for COMEDK UGET 2019 counselling which will be held in the month of June and July.
