We celebrate INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY every year on 8 March. It is celebrated first time in 1911. To encourage women for Social, Economic, Cultural, and Political achievements and raise social awareness in our society about women’s equality, gender equality, etc.

WHY WE CELEBRATE:-

We celebrate INTERNATIONAL  WOMEN’S DAY  every year on 8 March. It is celebrated first time in 1911. To encourage women for Social, Economic, Cultural, and Political achievements and raise social awareness in our society about women’s equality, gender equality, etc.

               

WHAT SHOULD WE DO:-

It is celebrated by Educational Institutes, Colleges, Universities in the respect of Women. These institutes organize Public speeches, dramas, Quiz competitions, etc. to empower women. 

 

UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHABAD:- 

The University of Allahabad organize an online essay & quiz competition on the topic “Women in National Movement” was based on the theme “Women in 21st Century” to celebrate International Women’s Day, 2022.

 

An exhibition will organize different startups by former students of the center of Fashion Designing & Technology. As a part of International Women’s Day.

 

AICTE:-  

“2nd Lilavati Award 2021” will present by The Union Minister for Women & Child Development, Mrs. Smriti Zubin Irani in a Virtual Function on 

Women Empowerment is organized by AICTE ( ALL INDIA COUNCIL for TECHNICAL EDUCATION).

 

UNIVERSITY OF DELHI:- 

A speech was given by BK Lata & BK Chakradhari by the Rajyoga Meditation Centre to grace the occasion.
