Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted once in a year by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted in online mode. By taking AP EAMCET, eligible and deserving aspirants get admission in various professional agriculture, engineering, and pharmacy courses in Private and Government institutions of Andhra Pradesh state.

Age Criteria

The minimum age limit is 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission and 22 years is the maximum age limit for General category applicants and 25 years for SC and ST applicants for B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (FS & T), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses.

For pharmacy and engineering courses, applicants should have completed 16 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limitation for these courses.

Applicants should have completed 17 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission for Pharm-D course.

Nationality

Applicants should be a citizen of India, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Applicants should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Applicants should belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

Qualification Criteria

Applicants should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.

Applicants appearing in class 12th can also apply for AP EAMCET 2018.

Applicants should have passed or appearing in the final year of 12th or equivalent class from recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as optional for Pharm-D course.

Applicants who have completed or appearing in Diploma in Engineering courses can also apply.

Diploma in Pharmacy applicants can also apply for Pharm-D course.

Applicants should obtain 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks for reserved category in the core subjects.

The upper age limit to apply is 22 years for all applicants and 25 years in respect of SC/ST applicants as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Applicants should have completed 16 years age by the date of starting of admission for B.Pharma course.

Applicants should have cleared or appearing in the final year of the intermediate with Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects for B.Pharma course.

For agriculture courses, applicants should have passed or appearing in the 12th or equivalent exam with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course given below:

Application Process

Step 1: AP EAMCET 2018 Application Fee Payment

To apply for AP EAMCET 2018, applicants will have to pay the AP EAMCET 2018 fee. Applicants can make the payment via:

·         Credit Card

·         Debit Card

·         Net Banking

Applicants will have to pay INR 407.50 (INR 350 as Registration fee + INR 57.50 as processing fee) and also a Late fee (if applicable). Applicants will have to fill in the below-mentioned details on the Fee Payment Page:

·         Candidate’s name

·         Mobile number

·         Qualifying exam hall ticket number

·         Date of birth

·         Stream

·         Email ID

Step 2: Filling Details in the AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form

After making the payment, the next step involves filling mandatory details in the AP EAMCET 2018 application form such as:

·         Applicant details

·         Qualifying exam details

·         Applicants’ address

·         AP EAMCET exam centre

·         Details of common entrance test

Step 3: Uploading of Scanned Images

Applicants will have to upload the scanned images of their Passport sized photograph (recent) and Signature as per the specifications.

Step 4: Print-out of Filled AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form

This is the final step of filling the AP EAMCET 2018 application form. After paying the application fee, filling the required details and uploading the Photograph and Signature, applicants must carefully verify all the details filled in the application form and then, take a print out of the filled in AP EAMCET application form.

Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for AP EAMCET 2018 Engineering

·         The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.

·         AP EAMCET 2018 will be conducted in online (Computer Based) mode.

·         The entrance exam will have multiple type of questions, wherein candidates will have to choose one correct answer from the four alternative options.

·         The question paper of AP EAMCET 2018 will consist of 160 questions in total.

·         The question paper will be held in English and Telugu language only.

·         AP EAMCET 2018 will have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.

Exam Pattern for AP EAMCET 2018 Agriculture

·         The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.

·         AP EAMCET 2018 will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode.

·         The entrance exam will have objective type of questions.

·         AP EAMCET 2018 question paper for agriculture programme will have 160 questions in total.

·         The question paper will be held in English and Telugu language only.

·         AP EAMCET 2018 will have questions from Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry subjects.

AP EAMCET Marking Scheme 2018

·         For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates.

·         Negative marking is not applicable in the entrance exam.

·         Marking of two options will be considered as inaccurate.

·         No marks will be given for not attempting a question or leaving it blank.
