Amway India, the country's leading direct selling FMCG Company, has tied-up with IIM Calcutta for a special course focused on entrepreneurship and leadership for its identified high potential direct sellers. This is the first time that Amway India has tied-up with a premier management institute for a special course for its direct sellers. Amway India strategically invests in skilling and nurturing entrepreneurship amongst its direct sellers. The company offers free training to them by conducting more than 18,000 training sessions during an average 12-month period besides the presence of a comprehensive digital learning portal (E-learning).
Chief Sales officer of Amway, Achinta Banerjee said that they are delighted to partner with IIM Calcutta in their endeavor to conduct the best-in-class training programme on entrepreneurship with practical curriculum & experiential learning. They are also intending to do more such experiential training programs so as to actualize their potential.
IIM Calcutta had last year, in November 2016, launched 1-year post-graduate residential management (PGRHM) programme for healthcare professional and administrators.
The training programme focused on imparting updated management education to healthcare professionals. The new batch of PGRHM will commence in April 2017. The classes will be conducted online for the same.
