AIIMS PG 2019: The exam is organized by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. It is a national level entrance exam to offer Postgraduate courses in MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch. Through this entrance exam, the admission will be offered in various AIIMS medical colleges within India. The exam is conducted two times in one year. Minimum Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfill the following criteria listed below in order to be eligible for AIIMS PG 2019

·         Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from an institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.

·         Candidates need to have completed one year of rotating internship on or before January 31, 2019.

·         Applicants from General Category are required to have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while the candidates belonging to SC/ST category are required to have scored an aggregate of 50%.

Application Process

The applicants can apply for AIIMS PG exam 2019 through online mode from the official website of AIIMS. Candidates first ensure their eligibility before starting the application process. They must read the information brochure carefully in order to avoid the mistakes while filling AIIMS PG online application form. The AIIMS PG 2019 application form for January session will available most likely in the month of September 2018. Interested and eligible candidates need to apply on or before the closing date of the application process. All the details have to be filled genuinely by the applicants. They can also select the examination city of their choice. The applicants are advised to proofread the duly filled application form before final submission because once submitted, any kind of changes will not be allowed. Hence, be careful while filling up the application form.

Application Fee

The payment of application fee is the final step of the application process. Without paying the application fee, the application process will not be completed. The mode of payment and the application fee for different categories is as follows-

  • The application fee for General/OBC categories is Rs. 1000/-.
  • The application fee for reserved categories is Rs. 800/-.
  • The application fee can be paid either through debit/credit card or net banking.
  • The OPH applicants are exempted from the payments of application fee.

Syllabus

The exam for MD/MS will be covered all the topics/chapters from the subjects taught at MBBS level. The entrance test for MDS will be based on subjects studied during BDS.
