The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has officially announced that the Aadhaar Card number will be mandatory while filling the application form of JCECE 2017. Without the Aadhaar Card Number, the applicants will not be able to submit the application form and register themselves. All applicants who do not have a Aadhaar Card are requested by the admission committee to register themselves to obtain the required Aadhaar Card Number to participate in the entrance examination for engineering admissions of Jharkhand.
Since the Aadhaar Card number has been made as a necessary field to be filled in the application form, those applicants who are yet to be allotted Aadhaar Card are requested to visit the nearest registration centre to apply for a new Aadhaar Card. From the session of 2017, all entrance examinations of the state of Jharkhand will be requiring the Aadhaar Card number to be qualified for registration and the examination.
The requirement of Aadhaar card as a compulsory identification document for the engineering exam was first introduced for JEE Main 2017 by CBSE. Following it, AKTU has also included the Aadhaar number as a mandatory field in the Application Form of UPSEE 2017. Now, even the JCECE Board has confirmed the implementation of the same process.
Aspirants of JCECE 2017 must also ensure that they satisfy the norms defined by the Board. The application form can be obtained online or from the Post office. The ICR Application Form will also be available for download. Candidates also have to pay the requisite fee amount to validate the application form.
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) 2017 is expected to be held in the 2nd week of June 2017. Through JCECE 2017, candidates can take admission to various B.E and B.Tech courses in the state of Jharkhand.
