 DAVV CET 2020

 DAVV CET- Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya Common Entrance Test

 This entrance exam is scheduled and organized for the applicants who are interested in getting the admission through the university for the UG & PG courses.The entrance exam is generally organized to select potential applicants and assign them to the appropriate courses as per their caliber. The entrance exam is organized by the DAV University. And it is conducted tentatively in the month of June every year.

BCA / BCA Hons.

Higher Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and Mathematics as a subject.

MBA

Graduation in any stream with min 50% marks. A relaxation of 5% in the eligibility criteria shall be admissible to the bonafide SC/ST applicants of Madhya Pradesh only. A relaxation of 5% in eligibility will also be applicable to Physically Challenged (Nishaktjan) as defined by M.P. Government

MCA (6Years)

A candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics with minimum 50% marks from any recognized state /central education board of equivalent.

M.Tech. Integrated

A candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics with minimum 50% marks from any recognized state / central education board of equivalent.

M. Sc

H.Sec./XII Std. (any stream) with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General / OBC candidates, and 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) category candidates from a recognized Board/ Institute.

B.Voc. (Interior Design)

Minimum (10+2) pass or equivalent in any stream.

BSW

Higher Secondary (10+2) in any stream with 45% marks.

B. Pharm Lateral Entry

A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. A Student should have pass Diploma in Pharmacy with 50% marks in aggregate. The seat shall be available for MP domicile candidates only.

M. Tech

A candidate seeking admission to the program should have passed with 60% (or Equivalent) in BE/BTech (or Equivalent) in an allied branch of engineering from recognized Institute/ University and Valid GATE Score in the relevant/allied branch of Engineering / Technology

M. Pharm

B. Pharm from an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B. Pharm.)

M.A.

A candidate should have Graduate degree with any stream.

LLM

Bachelor degree in Law with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General / OBC candidates, and 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for SC/ST category candidates from a recognized University / Institute.

Bachelor of Journalism

Any Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General / OBC candidates, and 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) category candidates from a recognized University / Institute.

Master of Social Work

Any Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General / OBC candidates, and 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) category candidates from a recognized University / Institute

B. Lib. & I. Sc.

A candidate seeking admission to the program must have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhalaya, Indore or any other Statutory University/Institute recognized as equivalent thereto by DAVV. The candidate must have attained the age at the time of admission as Prescribed by the university from time to time

M Lib. & I. Sc.

A candidate seeking admission to the program must have passed a Bachelor of Library and Information Science examination with 45% or equivalent grade of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore or any other Statutory University/Institute recognized as equivalent thereto by DAVV. The candidate must have attained the age at the time of admission as Prescribed by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the University from time to time.

Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports

The candidate must have passed the board examination under 10+2 scheme or equivalent which is required for three years degree course in the university. Satisfactory knowledge of English is essential because most of the books of physical education are in English.

 The important details which can help an applicant to understand the application process is mentioned below:

 Important points to refer :

  •  The applicants have to visit the official website (www.dauniv.ac.in)
  • Then the applicants have to click on apply online.
  • Then the applicants have to select the course name they want to apply from the drop-down list.and select your course.
  • The next thing the applicants have to do is to fill the form with the details asked.
  • The applicants have to enter the personal information, educational details, Parent’s details and DOB of the applicant.
  • The next important thing is to upload the scanned passport size photo and the scanned copy of the signature in the appropriate format as described on the website.
  • The applicants also can select the preferred center for the exam.
  • Once all the things are completed the page will come where it will ask the applicant to submit the application.
  • Once submitted the user id and password will get generated for the applicant.
  • This credential is important and is unique for each applicant and should not be shared with anyone.

 DAVV CET Application Fee

  •  The applicants now have to pay the application fee of Rs 1500/ + 50 online charges (+GST).
  • The fee can be paid through net banking or the applicants can also use the debit/ credit card for the same.

DAVV CAT 2020 Exam Pattern

Mode: DAVV CET 2020 will be conducted online i.e. computer-based Test (PBT) on May 22, 2020.

Question Type: The question paper will be of 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Duration: The time given to complete the examination will be 90 minutes.

Marking Scheme: Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Medium: The question paper will be in English.
